Okay, so I can't believe it's been OVER a year since I've blogged! I'm hoping to change that. We'll see. :) Last night the boys and I made pumpkin rice krispy treats that I'd found on Pinterest. They didn't turn out AS cute, but the boys were excited to make them and they turned out cute enough. Here are some pictures of my first ever experience making rice krispy treats!

The green icing was so hard to squeeze out, so Todd just did the first row. They're not as orange as they're supposed to be, but I kinda like how they turned out....with specks of red, yellow and white. And they were delicious!!

Ladies and Gentlemen. We have a birthday boy in the house! Bradley turned 1 today! I'm going to say it again (for the thousandth time). TIME FLIES! We've been having lots of fun, so I guess that's what happens! He is the most amazing baby. The thing I love most about Bradley is that he's always smiling. He charms everyone who meets him. I'm so lucky to be his Mom. :)

As for Bradley's 1 year stats, I won't know until Monday. Here are a few of the things Bradley is doing at 1 year old:

-Says "bye bye" and "night, night"

-Says "uh oh" "guys!" and "boys!"
-Todd and I practice his walking and he's ALMOST there. He cruises around on his Eeyore bike and his walker.
-He has 8 teeth and maybe more on the way. He's been a little cranky around night time lately.

Backyard Fun!

Our winter grass FINALLY grew in all the way and the boys are now allowed to play in the yard. Man, it was torture for them to have to play on the patio for 2 weeks! It didn't make my life easy either. :)

I love this picture. I love the look on Tyler's face. He sincerely loves his baby brother. He was having so much fun that night doing under-dog with Bradley's swing.

Baby Shower Gift

I made this gift for my friend Lindsay. We actually met at her wedding! She booked our photo booth (scrapBOOTH) for her reception. We had several phone conversations regarding the booth and all I could think about was how NICE she was! I seriously hadn't spoken with a client like her EVER! She is a scrap-booker and provided all of her own embellishments to put in her book. She was an amazing client and is turning out to be an amazing friend. Anyway, her and her husband, Billy, wasted no time starting their family. :) They are expected to have their baby GIRL ,Athena, by mid-end of January.

I had such a fun time putting this together. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the onesie I made. It was pink with white and silver ruffles on the bum and a cup cake applique on the front. I'll have to have Lindsay take a picture of it so I can show you guys. It was the 3rd one I've made and I think they are so cute! Can you tell I want a girl really, REALLY bad??!! I'm living my dream vicariously through my friends. LOL!
I do have to say that this was all TODD'S idea! If you know Todd, I'm sure you can believe it. He really has such great, creative ideas. I was just proud that I was able to pull it off. :) Happy Baby Shower Lindsay! You are going to be a wonderful Mother!

This year we went to our ward's trunk or treat to celebrate Halloween. The boys had a GREAT time! Bradley was Eeyore, Josh a little devil, Tyler a pirate, and I was a flapper. We ate some yummy chili and desserts, then I handed out candy while Todd walked with the boys to do the trunk or treat.

My First 5k!

So, I signed up to run a 5k! For those who don't know, that's 3.1 miles. It's on October 2nd in Tempe. I've been training for 3 weeks now and I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. Seriously.....I haven't run a mile since I was probably 10. I JUST ran a mile without stopping yesterday. Sheesh! Although it's not much yet, it was really encouraging to see that I've improved. Anyway, here are a couple pictures of my teammates. Yeah, we like to have fun when we're not training. :)

9 months!

Bradley is 9 months old today! He's getting so big and cuter every day! The picture above is from his first bath in the tub a few days ago. He just loves it! He had his well visit today and his stats are:

Weight- 17lbs. He didn't gain any weight from his 6 month visit! It kinda freaked me out, but the dr told me what foods to give him and we'll come back in a couple weeks for a weight check. Right now he's in the 5th percentile.

Length- 27 1/2. 25th percentile

He says dada, baba, papa, and makes other random sounds and clicks his tongue. He just laughs when I tell him to say mama. HaHa! He's finally okay with sitting up. He used to arch his back and throw himself backwards! He's cruising all over the furniture and finally figured out how to get down himself yesterday! I can't feed him in the bumbo anymore because he crawls out. So he's getting used to his highchair. He has the CHEESIEST grin! He scrunches his face to where his eyes are almost completely closed! I absolutely LOVE IT!!! Right now he's sleeping peacefully, but when he wakes up I'm sure he won't be so happy. He's currently suffering from an ear infection and a new tooth popping through. How dare he get both at the same time! :) But normally he is just such a happy baby. I'm so glad we made it through the first 6 months of constant fussiness. Happy 9 month birthday Bradley! We love you!!

8 Months! Really?!

Bradley is 8 months old today! Time is going by too quickly! We just love him so much and are so glad that he is a part of our little family.

Here are a few things about Bradley at this age:

-He has 5 teeth with one coming in any day!
-He is a master crawler and eater of bananas.
-He can sit up, but he really doesn't like to.
-He has begun to pull himself up to things to his knees.
-Says dada all the time. Still working on mama.
-I think he weighs somewhere around 18lbs.
-I discovered, over the past 2 weeks, that he really enjoys the water.

Those are just a few of the many things about Bradley at 8 months old. Those who know him tend to fall in love with him instantly....as long as he flashes those pearly whites. :) We love you so much Bradley James!!!

I put Bradley in his high chair for the first time today. I went to Walmart and bought lots of little snacks for him and he loved it! Although he did get a tad frustrated when he kept dropping his biscuit. He loved the little strawberry snacks though. :) He's getting so big too! 7 1/2 months old!

After Tyler's soccer game, we flew our $10 Sam's Club kite! Todd's parents were able to make it to the last quarter of Tyler's game, so to make the trip ALLLL the way to Maricopa worth it, they flew kites with us!

It was very windy and I didn't bring a blanket for Bradley. Luckily I found one of Todds scouts jackets in the back of our car.

SOCCER!

We signed Tyler up for soccer through the city this year, and he has had such a great time! His team name is the Jayhawks. They've played 7 games and have won 2 of them. I love that they don't care who wins or loses. They're just so dang excited about the oranges at half time and the juice and treat at the end! Typical 4&5 year olds. :) They have one game left this Saturday, so I'm a little late in blogging about this. He has learned a lot about soccer and the skills to play it! He has a great coach and really nice kids on his team. I can't wait to sign him up for the Fall.

Aaaand here's Josh! He can be found playing on the play ground during all of Tyler's games. :) Our little dare devil. Todd swears he's going to be our child who gets the broken bones. As of today, he has 3 visible marks on his face. 1) A black eye. 2) A cut where he hit his head on the car door. 3) A scab on his forehead from....I have no clue! Being a Mom to 3 boys sure is a challenge, but it's worth it!

MEEEEE!Bradley is 6 months old already! I am happy to report that Bradley is outgrowing his fussy ways and is beginning to be a happy, content baby. That is the best 6 month present I could ask for!

His new thing is sucking on his bottom lip.

5 Weeks!

Bradley is now 5 weeks old!

He's beginning to sleep a little less during the day, but more at night. I'll take that trade! He's still eating very well, considering I've had a couple infections and lost some of my milk for a couple days. I was able to get back on track and both Bradley and I are very happy. :) He's started cooing and it's soooooo cute! I'm also very happy that he takes a pacifier. It took about a week to get him to take it, but now if he wants it he'll take it with no problem. He also repsonds very well to Tyler trying to sooth him. Tyler will sing him a song, and most of the time he'll stop crying for a bit and just look at him. Sometimes it doesn't work, but it's nice when it does. As of now, car rides put him to sleep very fast, and he'll stay asleep for a few hours in his car seat. Don't know how long that will last. Well, for the most part, he's a very happy baby. I'm still adjusting obviously...Three kids is NOT a piece of cake. But we are all happy and healthy and that's what matters. I can't wait for my mom to come visit the day after Christmas and meet Bradley and see the boys!!

3 Weeks Old

I can't believe Bradley is already 3 weeks old! These past few weeks have absolutely flown by, and he has changed so much! I can't wait for his little personality to start showing. :) So far, my days (and nights) have consisted of feeding him, changing diapers, burping, wiping up spit up.....all while trying to keep Tyler and Josh happy. Let me tell ya....IT'S HARD! I still haven't gotten it through my head that I have THREE kids, but I sure am feeling it! The boys love him though and it's so sweet to see them kiss him or "shhhhh" him when he's crying. They are going to be such great friends when they grow up. My biggest challenge has a name though.....Josh. I was not prepared for this. Tyler was no problem when Josh came around and I was hoping that Josh would adjust just as well to Bradley. Not so much..... He's literally whining, screaming, crying 24/7! Well....except for when he's asleep (which takes a lot of effort to get him to do these days as well). I try my best to give him as much attention as possible when I'm not tending to Bradley, so I hope it catches up with him and he beings to behave normal again soon. :) I'm sure a lot of you mothers out there can relate. In the mean time, I'm just taking it day by day and making as few plans as possible. I think I'll be a home body for just a little bit longer. :) Here are a few pictures of my sweet little angel, Bradley. (He's beginning to become quite the chunker! 9lbs already!)

We are so excited to announce the birth of our 3rd boy, Bradley James Williamson! Bradley was born on November 11th 2009 at 7:25am. He weighed 7lbs 7oz and was 20in long! Perfect size! He is absolutely adorable and has brought so much joy to our home already. Thank you so much to family and friends who have already helped so much since he's been born. I can't wait for all of you to meet him.

We went to the nursery a couple days ago to look at trees and this is how Josh decided to have fun while we were there. I had another ultrasound today at 27 weeks. I've never had one this late in my pregnancies, so I was excited to see what our boy would look like at this stage....and Oh My Gosh! Look at these pictures! Amazing!!

Hero In A Half Shell- Happy 25th Anniversary!

Last month Todd and I took the boys to see the Ninja Turtles at Golf Land along with our friends the Bitters and their 4 boys. I was hoping all 4 turtles would be there, but only Michelangelo showed up....hence my title "Hero" in a half shell. Tyler was still waaaaay excited though. I think Todd was too. :) It was very hot, so while we waited for "the turtle" to come out of his air conditioned tent, we went inside the arcade at Golf Land and the boys rode a train.

Playing Dead

Last night Tyler didn't want to go to bed...so he played dead. He kept saying, "I'm dead" but wouldn't stop laughing. "I'm just teasing", he would say. It was pretty funny, and it was a nice transtition into the 'where do we go when we die' speech. I've had this with him before, but I really want him to understand what happens. I didn't go into too much detail. Just that when we get old and really sick, we die and go live with Heavenly Father and Jesus. He already knows this from our previous conversations. Last night was especially cute though because he asked how we get there. I explained that when we die, our bodies are buried and our spirits go up to heaven. I don't think he understood that, which is fine. For now, I'll let him believe that we get there by an airplane. :) But one of the best things he said is that one day him, me, Josh, and daddy will GET to go there. I told him it will be a while though....when he's 100. :)

Todd and I are very excited to announce that we are adding a THIRD BOY to our family! WOW! I was so sure going in to the ultrasound that it was going to be a girl, so when she said it was a boy, I was sort of thrown for a loop! I guess it just goes to show that it doesn't matter how different your pregnancies are! But you know what? I would be happy to have all boys. Mine, so far, have been soooooo good! We are so excited!!

After our visit to Alcatraz we stopped for lunch near Pier 39. Look at what we found! Pretty cool huh? They were all so funny to watch. There are some huuuuge ones out there!

Alcatraz!!

The first day of our trip was pretty crazy. We left Phoenix around 9:45pm-ish and drove allllll night. We had tickets to board the ferry to Alcatraz at 8:50am. Let me tell you.....we were a little stressed that we wouldn't make it. We pulled up to the ferry at 8:50am!! Can you say close or what?! We had no time to relax before hopping on the boat. We got out of the car and ran to get in line. It was so worth it though. Here are some pictures from our adventure at Alcatraz!

This is the booth that the prisoners would speak with their visitors through. Visitors were very rare however because parents of prisoners often told their loved ones that they were dead. They'd rather have them believe that then know that they had been sent to Alcatraz.....not a fun place to be.

Our Trip....Little by Little

Last week we took a trip to San Francisco and Yosemite. Here's the first of many posts. I don't really feel like blogging about it all at once because that would take forever, so I'm doing it in several different posts. I may do more today, so keep an eye out!

The Birthday Night

For my birthday, Todd thought it would be cool to have a bonfire in the desert. Sounded fun to me! We invited my best friend Amanda and Todd's friend Ryan to join us. Amanda and I share the same birthday, so this was a celebration for the both of us! We made tin foil dinners and peach cobbler. Well, we weren't there for even 20 minutes when our car battery died. We had been using the headlights to light the table we were preparing the food on. Luckily, Amanda's dad works for DPS and he called someone to help us out. Almost an hour later an officer shows up and jumps the car. He then goes on to lecture us a little about being out there by ourselves and how dangerous it was blah, blah, blah. Anyway, he decided to stick around while we packed up. We were leaving anyway...not because he scared us off or anything! lol! We had the peach cobbler when we got back to the house. It was pretty yummy! I didn't end up getting to bed until around 2:30! I'm too old for this.......

The Birthday Fun Continues

Friday morning I met Shelley and Amy at my mother in laws house for a recipe exchange. We had a ton of fun visiting and drooling over the yummy recipes we wish were made right then and there! Oh yeah....and we drooled over some cute babies too!!

This is Shelley's sweet girl Ellery. We are glad she's home and doing well. This little girl is always smiling! And the rare times she's not, she has the softest, sweetest little cry. Too cute!!!

This is Amy's cutie pie Liberty! She was also a very happy baby that day. As you can see, she had on the cutest bow that Amy made! It matched her little outfit perfectly! Her and Ellery had a fun time playing with eachother. Oh...She's 5 months old and is already sitting up! Watch out mommy....she'll be walking in no time!

So....I'm a little late posting this. My birthday was on the 13th! I turned the big 2-6! Yeah, I know...not a huge milestone, but getting closer! Anyway, I woke up that morning and Todd told me to go look on the porch because there was something for me. Hmmm....I wonder what it was....My first thought was that he bought me a bench for the porch but when i went out there I didn't see anything. It took me a couple minutes and then I saw this:

I thought, "Oh, how sweet! I have the best husband!" And then I saw this:

"Awww! He's even sweeter!" Then this:

"So THIS is why he was working late tonight...., He's the best!"

I went inside and told him Thank You and that he was very sweet. He looked at me and said he didnt' know what I was talking about. He didn't do it......What? Then who did? I had no idea! I went outside again and read every single thing written on the hearts. It definitely wasn't something a guy would do after all right? I had my suspicions as to who would've loved me enough to heart attack my front yard. They were later proved correct! I was talking to my great friend Emily on the phone and she confirmed that it was her and several more of my great friends from the ward! Todd only knew about it because they knocked on the door at 12:15 am when they were done! lol! He was awake watching TV with the windows open, so they had to be very quiet. He's surprised he didn't hear them. Anyway, it made my day! Thank you so much!

Wow. So someone forgot to tell me that farming is hard work. I feel somewhat deceived by seemingly harmless children's songs like "The Farmer in the Dell". They make farming sound like fun! I'll let you in on a little secret that Mother Goose apparently plotted to keep from us: there is no 'hi-ho the derry-o'. There are, however, plenty of WEEDS on the farm - as in "E-I-E-I-OH MY goodness, look at all them weeds!"

So we went down to the Williamson Plantation on Saturday to see how things were doing. Other than the aforementioned weeds, it appeared that everything we planted has started to grow!!! Check out the pics below.

The Williamson Plantation

There is a family here in Maricopa that owns a farm and they have been so generous as to open up a portion of their farmland to those who would like to plant their own mini-farm! This was such a great opportunity, so we signed right up and convinced the Williamson extended family to co-op with us. We are so excited - this should be fun, potentially hard work, and rewarding.

Last Saturday, we went down to the plantation to plant the seeds - we planted tomatoes, red onions, yellow onions, summer squash, butternut squash, zucchini, watermelon, cantaloupe, cucumbers, and green onions. There is also a section being planted for community corn as well.
Grandma Williamson, Uncle Jeff, and Aunt Amy were there for support since Todd was out camping with the scouts.

So, for the last couple months we'd been giving Josh the Nuby sippy cups. They worked well for a little while, but he ended up just biting through the nipple and milk would go everywhere when he would try to drink out of it. I decided to go buy the kind that Tyler used when he was Josh's age. Holy Cow! Can you say expensive?!? I'm sure they've gone up in price in the last 2 years....but give me a break.....$7 for 2 cups? Geez....Anyway...I got them and I've been trying to get him to use it all day long. This might sound mean, but I forced it into his mouth in hopes that he might realize he CAN suck out of it...to no avail. I knew he was getting thirsty, so I tried again. And YAY! He finally got it! Whew! These are a little harder to bite through. So even though it may happen, it will take a while. Here's a couple pictures to show Josh's accomplishment. Big Boy Sippy Cup!

Well, I finally went and did it. I buzzed Tyler's hair! Todd was there to help me since I've never done this before. I happen to think Tyler looks great! Soon after I was done, we went to his room to get him dressed and he looked in his mirror and said, "I look cool!" HaHa! He really DOES look cool! I think it makes him look older actually. His hair grows so fast, so I'm sure I'll be touching it up again in the next couple weeks.

Finally, after 3 years, we have grass! I am way excited about this. I'm a little bummed that we have to wait 2 weeks before the kids can play on it. But I'll be patient. They were the main reason we decided to put it in now. I'm sure lots of fun will be had in the backyard now! Thanks to Todd, Ryan, and some random guy on the street for helping lay it! Amanda and I supervised.....and I got sunburned....Oh well! It was worth it!

We got all of the ingredients, followed the directions.....and it turned out pretty good! I like Craig's better, but with a little more practice I think we can get it down! I was so excited to get up this morning and build our garden! I had to document this very special occasion because this is the very first thing that Todd and I have ever built together! GO US! It really was a lot of fun! So far we only have tomatoes in, but we have plans to plant many more things in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we have green thumbs!

I know I'm WAY late in announcing this exciting news....but Josh turned 1 on Feb. 2nd! We had a small gathering of friends and family at our home to celebrate. It amazes me how fast time has gone by. He is growing up to be such a sweet boy!

6) Loves bath time. He loves to see his reflection in the stainless steel
7) Just today began singing along to his favorite song. He says "ooh ah" Cute!
8) He loves to try and do whatever his big brother is doing....Tyler doesn't let that happen most of the time!
9) He is sooooo ticklish under his arms and on his feet. And he has the CUTEST laugh!

Tyler's 3rd Birthday!!

Tyler turned 3 on January 2nd. I just can't believe it! He is really growing up to be such a good and smart boy. We celebrated at Todd's parents house with all of his cousins and had a great time! And luckily, Tyler has a really COOL Uncle...Mark...who went and rented a bounce house for everyone to enjoy! We couldn't have asked for a better day!

9) Enjoys nursery class at church
10) He is such a big helper and tells us everyday that he loves us.

During the holidays, we visited Jungle Jim's Playland with the kids TWICE! It quickly became Tyler's favorite place in the world! He enjoyed riding the airplanes, carousel, bumper cars, and the train. He did ride the roller coaster once with me...or should I say I rode with him. But he didn't enjoy that one! Neither did I. Way too fast! LOL! Some of you may think that we didn't celebrate Christmas at the Williamson home this year...but contrary to what you may think, we did! I am JUST now getting time to blog about it, so I hope you will forgive me. :) We had a nice time with just me, Todd and the boys this year. We stayed home and weren't rushed. We did head over to Todd's parents house later on Christmas day and the fun continued! This Christmas was by far my favorite. I loved how excited Tyler got about Santa, opening presents, and playing with all of his cousins on Todd's side of the family. That's another thing...Todd has 7 brothers and sisters and they were ALL here this year! Some traveled long distances...Washington state, Utah, and Wisconsin. Thanks Tonya, Terri, and Kim for coming to see us. It made this year so special! I'm so happy that Tyler and Josh got to know their cousins a little bit better. I hope it's not too long before we can get together again.

A Preschool Christmas

Tyler had his preschool Christmas party yesterday. He had so much fun! He looks forward to going to preschool every day....even though he only goes twice a week! His teacher is fabulous and he knows the names of all the kids in his class. He retains knowledge so well. I know he's learning a lot because he'll come home and tell me something that I know I didn't teach him. It's really neat. He's growing up so fast and becoming quite the bright little boy. Visit to California

Last Sunday I loaded Josh and Tyler in the car and we headed to Indio, California to visit my sister Shea and her family. It wasn't an unfamiliar trip since we just went in October! It's so nice to live so close to her and be able to go whenever we want! While we were there, I helped her paint her oldest daughter,Kylee's room. We got about half of that done. (sorry...forgot to take pictures!) We also got take out from Goody's, a Mexican restaurant, went to Target..yay! And Shea and I went to her Relief Society Christmas party which she was in charge of! They had bread bowls with about 10 different kinds of soup, salad, pasta and desert. Very filling! And they had a nice Christmas presentation. We came home Wednesday morning, but not before Shea put air in my tires. Jeff noticed that my tires were extremely low, so thanks to him for that! And boy were they low! Pretty scary actually, to think I was driving on those tires with my boys in the car! But all is well now. We made it home safe and sound. Tyler and Josh were literally PERFECT the entire drive. 8 hours round trip! I have such good boys. We had a great trip and are looking forward to going again in March when my parents come to visit! Last weekend we went to the Festival of Trees in Gilbert. Tyler and Josh had a chance to meet with Santa and get a picture with him.
Tyler has been very excited about Santa Claus this year, so it was fun to see him interact with the jolly old elf.
Josh, on the other hand, was a little less excited. He didn't freak out at the sight of Santa....he just wanted his mommy. Although it is a scowl, at least he is looking at the camera in this one!

It's Almost Christmas!!

I'm more excited for Christmas this year than usual. Not quite sure why....But I put our tree up super early (the day after Thanksgiving) and I hurried and got all the decorations out. I'm really excited about the Christmas village we are going to display on Tyler's train table. It will be off limits to him one month out of the year. I hope he can handle it. So for those of you who don't live nearby or who don't visit us often, here is a little snap shot of our tree and the new garland I bought for the bar! YAY!

Okay, so....I have a lot of blog catching up to do. (At least 3 weeks worth!) But I wanted to go ahead and post the highlights from our Halloween to tide you all over until I can finally get everything else posted. Enjoy!

Tyler had his Pre-School Halloween party on Thursday afternoon. He had so much fun!

This year for Halloween, we did the usual. We carved our pumpkin on Wednesday night. Tyler loved scooping out all the seeds and was surprisingly neat doing it!

Girls Night!

I am husbandless this weekend, so tonight, my friend Amanda and I got to have a night out with NO KIDS! It was absolutely fabulous! Our movie didn't start until 9:00, so we had a couple of hours to kill. We hit the mall. After visiting a few children's clothing stores and browsing through the perfume and cologne selections ( Curve is my favorite), we decided to relax at Barnes and Noble and check out the new movie companion guide book to Twilight. Yes, we looked through the entire thing! It took up the majority of our time..and honestly, can you think of a better way to spend an hour? :) So...after drooling over Edward for the better part of 45 minutes, we went to the theater. We saw Nights in Rodanthe. The BOOK was fantastic. The MOVIE was not. I had my hopes up way too high for this one. It didn't flow like the book and I just did not think that Diane Lane captured her character to the fullest. I also didn't think that the development of their relationship was portrayed effectively. The last 10 minutes were the best and I did shed some tears, but overall I would give it a 4 out of 10. I highly recommend the book though!

Chasing Flies

Just a funny story from this morning....Tyler has a pair of pajamas that we call his "Frog Pajamas" and he wore them to bed last night. They're green with frogs and flies and on the front it says "Chasing Flies". When he woke up this morning, I was feeding Josh in the kitchen and he noticed a fly on the floor. What choice did he have but to slide across the floor and try to catch the fly? I just thought it was so cute that he was chasing flies in his pj's with the same name!

My Morning So Far....and it's only 11am!

Okay. So, I have never used my blog to vent before. This is a first. I've had quite a morning! I woke up at 8. Josh had soaked his sheets. I undressed him and gave him a quick bath. I showered and took Tyler to his t-ball practice....which I was 15 minutes late for (my fault for not getting up earlier). Then after that I was planning to 1) go to blockbuster to drop off some movies 2)Go to the grocery store to pick up some feminine necessities, and 3) Go pick up my book from the library. Here's how it all went down: I dropped of the movies successfully! (1 point for me), THEN I thought it would be a good idea to deviate from my original plan and go get Tyler's hair cut at Great Clips. We get there and we only have to wait about 7 minutes until it's our turn. Tyler didn't want to sit in the chair, so I bribed him with a treat from the store..which would be our next stop. He agreed and sat in the chair. But as soon as she put that cover over him, he flipped out. He wouldn't even stay still for a lolli-pop. We tried this twice and after giving the lolli-pop back to the stylist, Tyler flipped again. I wasn't going to let him have it! So we left. No hair cut. Dangit. (-1 point for me. +1 for Tyler). Next, and please don't laugh at me, (it's really okay if you do) I drove across the street and there was a Cost Cutters. Tyler had calmed down and I wanted to try this hair cutting thing one more time. Silly me..I know. So after about 5 minutes of sitting in the parking lot trying to convince Tyler that this was a good idea, we went in. But not before we walked by the big semi truck...that was Tyler's stipulation. We get in, I start to write his name on the sign in sheet and the lady walks up to us and tells me that there's a 30-40 minute wait. We left. :). It was just not meant to be today.(-2 points) I decided to skip the grocery store for now because there was no way I wanted to get both boys out of the car for like the 5th time this morning. (-3 points) So we went to the library to pick up my book that was ordered for bookclub. It's called My Sisters Keeper, by Jodi Picoult. So I leave the boys in the car real quick and go inside to get the book. I tell her my last name and she brings this book to the counter. It's not the book I ordered. Close though...Same title, wrong author. AHHHHHH! I'm really screaming inside by this point. I had to wait a week and a half to get the wrong book! She ordered the right one for me and it might take another week! I have to have it read by the 28th! Oh My Goodness! I was nice to her and left.(-4 points) Finally it was time to come home. I get in the driveway and Tyler doesn't want me to take him out because he wants to sleep in the car. Weirdo! So I have to force him out at which he begins fussing again. So I take Josh inside and just leave Tyler outside. He decided it would be best to come inside. Thank goodness. Josh was asleep in his car seat so I just needed to put him in his bed and let him be. BUT...I forgot that I hadn't replaced the wet sheet from this morning!(-5 points) While holding sleeping Josh, I took the wet sheet off and just put a blanket down and put him in his bed. That was at 11. It's now 11:22 and he didn't go back to sleep. UGH! So right now, things are okay I think. Tyler's watching Mickey Mouse Club House,(+2 points for him) I just finished a slim fast and I'm not sure what I'm going to do next. I was planning on reading my book, but that's not gonna happen! :)

Okay - so this is a little silly.....or maybe extremely silly - but I need your help. My favorite band Weezer is coming to town and I now have the opportunity of a lifetime: to play on stage with the band. My brothers Mark and Jeff put together a music video and entered it into a competition hosted by The Edge 103.9 in Phoenix, AZ. They were nice enough to splice me in at the last minute (my performance is rediculously embarrassing).

If we win, we will get to go up on stage at the concert and play 1-3 songs with the band using our own instruments! It's gonna be totally awesome - but we need your help. We need votes. Taking a bath in the REAL tub!

Last night Josh took a bath in the REAL bath tub. Now that he can sit up, I wanted to give it a try. I'd done it a couple times, but he was very hesitant to put his bottom in the water and flexed his legs which made it very difficult for me to put him in a sitting position. Anyway.....last night he LOVED it! I know the pictures don't do it justice, but he was splashin' away!
