Josh's Two Month Check-up

Josh had his 2 month check-up yesterday. He's actually 11 weeks, but I had to schedule it later because his shots couldn't be so close together. Anyway...everything went well. He's weighs a very healthy 14lbs 7 oz and is 24 1/2 inches long! He had to get 4 shots and one oral immunization for the rotovirus. He was such a trooper!

"The Town Too Tough To Die"

Can anyone guess what town that is? If you guessed Tombstone....YOU'RE RIGHT! We visited Tombstone on Saturday for several hours. It was really, really fun! There were about 15 of us. First we went to Boothill. It's a big graveyard full of people who were killed in Tombstone back in the 1880's or so. Pretty neat. Then we headed to the streets of Tombstone where we visited the Courthouse and a lot of other neat places. The weather was kinda nice when it was windy. I got sunburned pretty bad, but thankfully it's already getting better.
After Tombstone we visited a town called Bisbee. We took a tour of the Queen Mine which was grrreat! Actually, I was a little nervous as we headed into the mine. The train we took was a little unstable (it was safe....I just felt like I had to hang on to support myself). I did have Josh attached to me in the snugli, so I had a little extra weight to carry around.
Here are some pictures from our adventure!

My First 8 Hours

Last night was fantastic! That's right....I got 8 hours of sleep for the first time in a long time! Josh slept 9 hours! He's always been a great sleeper at night, but I wasn't expecting this at all. Of course it probably had something to do with his lack of naps during the day, so I don't know if I should expect this to become a regular thing, but I'm thankful that it happened nonetheless. That's my good news for the day!
