"I'd Like to Solve the Puzzle Please"

Raise your hand if you can solve this puzzle?

You guessed it! My little man ate an entire jar of carrots! I was so excited because today was the first time that he ever expressed an interest in eating solid food. I'd try and try but he would keep his lips sealed. I'd have to tickle him to make him laugh just so I could shove some food in his mouth! But today he was very eager to eat. I just can't help but laugh looking at these pictures. Thank goodness for cameras! I never want to forget these moments! Oh....and remember our clean carpets?? Well....they're not so clean anymore. We had plenty of carrot spit up today.... :)
P.S. I'd like to note that he IS wearing a diaper, however due to his ever expanding tummy, it just rolls right over it!

Clean Carpet and Funny Faces

We cleaned the carpet in our tv room on Saturday morning. I wish it could always look this clean!

You wanna piece of me? (This is my FAVORITE picture of the day!)

This is Tyler's surprised face. He learned that in pre-school. haha

Tyler's Tree

This is the latest in the development of Tyler's tree. As you can see we haven't quite been on the ball, but we do what we can when we can. My mother-in-law was here on Monday and we started to put the fabric over the window screen with fabric stiffener and it's working great. I was able to squeeze some time in on Tuesday to do some more and hopefully I'll get around to do it later tonight as well. It's the fun part of the project! But don't worry....I'll be sure to keep you all up to date. I know you're just dying to know what it's going to look like! So am I! haha :)

Tyler's First Day of Pre-School

Today was Tyler's first day of pre-school! He has been so excited ever since he discovered that he would be starting. We've been counting down the days for about a week now. He's so excited to play with his friends, and learn letters and numbers. His teachers name is Mrs. Stacey. She said he did so well today! I was relieved! Look at him with his little back pack!

He closes his eyes now when he smiles. I'm hoping to break him of that habit soon.

Peanut Butter Playdough

He was pushing the star down so hard! It was cute!

We made worms!

I just got this idea from my friend Diana literally about an hour ago! She had just recently posted it on her blog so I had to try it out. I knew Tyler would have a great time with it. When I told him we were going to make play dough, he said he didn't want to. He would rather color his dump truck picture! So I went ahead and made it anyway, and as soon as it was done, he was all over it! The best thing about this play dough is that you can eat it! Of course we couldn't eat all of it in one sitting, so it's in the fridge patiently waiting for us to get it out again! Here's how you make it:

1c peanut butter
2/3c powdered sugar (the real recipe calls for powdered milk but I didn't have any)
2tbsp honey

I had to add more powdered sugar to get the consistency right and still it wasn't perfect but it was good enough!

Midnight Release Party of Breaking Dawn!!

Last night me and a couple of friends hit the town and headed to Barnes and Noble for the midnight release of the 4th book of the Twilight Series, Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. We were united with our own kind! haha. We had an absolutely fabulous time and we are already immersed in the book! As a matter of fact...as soon as I'm done here, it's back to reading! Me, Amanda, and Emily posing with our favorite series! Notice the black fingernails. They had a booth set up so everyone could paint their nails and get fake tattoos. I passed on the tattoo.

I know this is contrary to the book...but it was still fun!

I scored these t-shirts at the last minute. It was fun to match! We got loads of compliments. Some people came up to us thinking we were in charge of the event. It was funny!
