It Beats Paying $18

Raise your hand if you agree that paying $18 (including tip) is too much to pay to have your 2 1/2 year olds hair cut??....That's what I thought. So last Sunday I decided to have a try at cutting Tyler's hair myself. I seriously went into this not knowing what I was doing at all. Thanks to Todd I didn't give Tyler a bowl cut! I did mess up in the back a little, but of course you're not going to see those pictures! It's hardly noticeable anyway. But regardless of that, I think I did a pretty good job and I can say so long to those over priced children's hair salons!

$18 is very pricey for a kids hair cut! Tyler's hair looks good for not knowing what you were doing...good job!

I'm so sorry I didn't make it to your house tonight!! I promise I'm not a flake! It just didn't work out. I hope it went well. Thanks for the invite...Maybe next time I can go!

Wow! Good job, I am impressed. I hate paying for Nate's haircuts, and I agree. I wish I knew how to cut hair so I could do all of the haircuts in our house!

Cute new look on the blog, too.

ok so I found your so I will leave evidence that I was here...
good job on the cut...seriously kids cuts used to be like 8$ when I first started working it is insane now I would not pat 15 + for my girls to get hair cuts!

Good job. I think in that last picture he looks like Keller.
I think $18 is a lot too. I recently cut Landon's hair and it is a little too short in the front, but not too awful. Live and learn! I will get better at it so I can do it at home, like you, and not get ripped off!

I tried to cut Samantha's hair ONCE and then I had to take her to the salon to fix it..big mistake! Luckily, Benson cuts our boys hair (and his own) so I don't feel bad taking Samantha to the salon to get hers cut (plus it isn't as bad because she doesn't need a haircut as often as the boys).
Anyway, good job...it looks good!

Yeah, things are way to expensive. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! Good job! I'm just impressed you tried it yourself. Cute blog change too.

Hi Sarah,
Good job on the haircut! I'm impressed. I use the buzzer on my boys or I would never get it to come out even. That tree project you did in the boys room was very cool! Cute blog and I love working in primary with you. We'll miss you as a teacher, but glad you're going to play piano for us!
Have a great day! Lisa

LOVE your new blog layout! I, too, refuse to take my boys to the salon. I have some embarrassing pictures from when I've messed up pretty bad, but I think I do an OK job for not having training. It looks like you did great with Tyler's hair. He is so cute!
